Being born right here in Finland MN I have never been able to stay away for long. Through my many travels around the world I visited so many amazing places, met wonderful people, and thriving communities, but there is something special we have here in the woods of Northern Minnesota. Having now settled down back on the family farmstead in the Sawtooth Mountains along the north shore of Lake Superior, I want to support our community continuing to thrive.
I have always been drawn to leadership positions starting at a young age. Growing up I helped teach classes and workshops. In college I was involved with the campus and statewide student senate. Most recently I have served on a number of Boards as well as the elected Town Clerk of Crystal Bay Township. Now I am working to take my public service to the next level by being the next Lake County Commissioner of District 1.
